Agata Staniewska-Bolesta
Agata Staniewska - Bolesta is a manager with many years of experience and an expert in the areas of energy, environment and climate. She specializes in analyzing the political and legislative environment at the national and European levels. She has been with Ørsted for six years. She was the first person hired in the offshore area at the Danish company's Polish subsidiary. Among other things, she was involved in talks with PGE Baltica on a partnership for the construction of two phases of the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm, which culminated in the signing of an agreement on May 6, 2021, and the establishment of joint ventures with a 50 percent share of each party.
Prior to joining Ørsted, she held management positions at CEC Group and the Confederation of Leviathan, among others. She is a graduate of Interdepartmental Environmental Studies at the University of Warsaw. She also completed a course in climate change at the University of Melbourne. In 2022, Agata Staniewska - Bolesta was the recipient of the “Energy of the Future” award from the DISE Energy Congress and Microsoft.
