Ocean Winds is the result of a joint venture between EDPR S.A. and ENGIE S.A.. The company is developing offshore wind projects under construction or in development (17 GW) and in operation (1.5 GW). The aim is to increase the volume of projects in operation or under development to 5-7 GW by 2025 and projects preparatory stage to 5-10 GW. In Poland, OW is developing the BC-Wind project with a capacity of up to 500 MW. The project holds an environmental decision for both the marine and land sections and has secured Contract for Difference (CfD) rights, it will be one of the first offshore investments in Poland.
